The World Bank FishCORE Task Team arrived at the Department of Agriculture-Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (DA-BFAR) central office today, March 16, to discuss the FishCORE project operations readiness and the pending key/joint actions from December 5-16, 2022 Technical Mission.

A MOA signing was held between DA-BFAR, represented by DA-BFAR Director Demosthenes Escoto, and Pangingisda Natin Gawing Tama (PaNaGaT) Network, represented by Dinna Umengan, PaNaGaT’s National Convener and Executive Director of Tambuyog Development Center, at the DA-BFAR Central Office. Other PaNaGaT organization members were also in attendance, Rare Philippines, represented by Dennis Calvan, and the Institute of Social Order (ISO), represented by Samantha Poblete.

Pinangunahan ng BFAR ngayong Lunes, Marso 6, sa Brgy. Tabon II, Kawit, Cavite, ang isang diyalogo at konsultasyon kasama ang mga mangingisdang miyembro ng organisasyong PAMALAKAYA na ‘di umano’y apektado ng dredging activities sa Manila Bay.
