Facilitated by DA-BFAR’s Fisheries Industry Development and Support Services Division (FIDSSD), the Seafood KADIWA has sold about Php 65,670.00 worth of fishery commodities such as fresh bangus, tilapia, individually-quick-frozen (IQF) white shrimp, salmon head, deboned bangus, marinated bangus, smoked bangus, marinated scad, and assorted dried fish.
The Seafood KADIWA was participated by suppliers from Zambales, Pampanga, Pangasinan, Quezon Province, Metro Manila, and Hagonoy and Calumpit in Bulacan.
The Seafood KADIWA ni Ani at Kita is one of the Bureau’s initiatives to provide local communities access to affordable fishery products while providing the fisherfolk and fishery-based micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) an alternative market for their produce and value-added commodities.
