Overview
FishCORAL will address key issues that contribute to the high incidence of poverty among fishermen through sustainable management of the coastal and fisheries resources and implementation of community-based enterprises in the 1,098 communities of the target 11 bays/gulfs.
Goal
To contribute to a reduced incidence of poverty in the covered coastal communities.
OBJECTIVE
Coastal communities sustainably manage their fishery and coastal resources and increase income from fishery-based livelihood activities among target areas.
TARGETS
Poverty reduction:
Decrease by at least 5% from baseline of 42% (mean poverty incidence).
At least 11% increase of the annual income of the participating community households
By end of the Project, employment of women engaged in income generating activities increased to 40% from baseline of 20%.
TPR contains the essential information in counting the number of fisherfolk who have directly and indirectly been reached by the intervention of Project. It enables the Project staff and the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) team in identifying and quantifying the following: fisherfolk, fishing households, men and women, youth, Indigenous People (IPs).
Determine types and number of livelihood projects approved and implemented. Tracks progress on livelihood project implementation. Also contains information on sales, market, insurance and FHH income (per cycle/ harvest). The tool can also be used as an evaluation tool as it is based on the LogFrame.
