Intended for deserving ALS / high school / senior high school graduates/graduating students whose parents or guardians are members of a particular ICCs and IPs recognized by the National Commission on Indigenous Peoples (NCIP), this component aims to assist the members of ICCs/IPs in the pursuit of education in Fisheries, thereby empowering them to become self-reliant and capacitated, to meaningfully contribute to the promotion of their tribes’ well-being and to nation-building, in general, and the fisheries sector, in particular, and to bridge the century-old traditional knowledge and contemporary knowledge.
The qualifying exam passers shall be granted with full scholarship, school fees, On-the-Job Training (OJT) or Practicum support, book allowance, Thesis/Special Problem support, and graduation support.
