BFAR 11 Bulletin for May 22, 2020
Update: As of 10 am today, BFAR 11 has issued a total of 1, 252 food passes and 3, 171 local transport permits (LTPs) for essential goods in the Regional Office, Davao City Airport and City/Provincial Fishery Offices.
Earlier today, BFAR 11 participated in the Facebook Live Forum conducted by Oceana Philippines wherein a documentary on the effects of plastic pollution and its risk to human health was featured.
BFAR 11 consistently supports and promotes the advocacy on environmental protection, especially in the conservation of our seas and aquatic resources.
BFAR 11 enjoins the community, primarily the youth, to take an active part in this advocacy by practicing proper waste segregation and minimizing the use of plastics.
Aside from that, various IEC materials regarding Covid-19 health guidelines as well as Farmers’ and Fisherfolk’s Month Celebration were posted in different divisions and units in the BFAR 11 Regional office.
