Update: As of 10 am today, BFAR 11 has issued a total of 1, 191 food passes and 2, 968 local transport permits (LTPs) for essential goods in the Regional Office, Davao City airport and City/Provincial Fishery Offices.
BFAR 11, through PFO Davao de Oro, facilitated the conduct of an orientation to LGU-Maco Special Areas for Agricultural Development (SAAD) Program beneficiaries regarding the schedule of bangus harvesting, proper fish handling and management of the kitang fishcages.
Other activities undertaken for today include the conduct of inspection of fishpond for tilapia fingerlings dispersal at Brgy. Taguibo and monitoring of Bangus fry production at Mr. Pedro Pacatang's Hatchery at Tagawisan, both in Mati City, Davao Oriental.
BFAR 11 is continuously in close coordination with local government units and other concerned agencies in order to improve fisheries productivity in Davao region.
