May 15, 2020: BFAR 12 FRPG conducted land-based inspection of fishing vessels and market scalers at Markets 1 and 2 in PFDA Complex, Tambler, General Santos City.

Three vessels were inspected: F/B JOHN MARK (carrier), F/B JEMS-14 (carrier) and F/Bca JIZZEL MAE-28 (Tuna Handline); and the fish scalers EGO Fishing Industry and Doble K. The team reported that the vessels and fish scalers inspected were compliant.

This daily activity of FRPG is in support to the bureau’s commitment to fight against any IUUF activities.
