Residents of six barangays in Kadingilan, Bukidnon receive food assistance
In line with the COVID-19 pandemic and the extension on the implementation of General Community Quarantine in the Municipality of Kadingilan, the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources 10 distributed fish products to local communities in the area.
More than 300 residents from six barangays namely Barangay Cabadiangan, Sitio Simsiman, Matampay, Kibalagon, Mabuhay and Balaoro, have been provided with 560 kgs of fish products from the bureau.
PFO Marlou N. Fernandez together with Ysmael Orpilla, Kadingilan Municipal Agriculture Officer led the distribution of fish products to residents greatly affected by the general community quarantine implemented in the Municipality.
“Dako kaayo nga tabang sa amoa labi na kay naa mi sa bukid ug mahal kaayo ang presyo sa isda” said Mrs. Gregoria Linangcay, 79 years old and a resident from Brgy. Matampay.
Fish products distribution is one of the initiatives of the Bureau in rendering needs assistance to residents to help them cope with the effects brought about by the quarantine measures in addressing the current global crisis.
