KADIWA MOBILE PALENGKE ROLLS OUT TODAY
MALINO, CSFP – In the absence of traders to bridge the gap between producers and consumers, the Department of Agriculture – Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Central Luzon in partnership with the Local Government, has dispatched the KADIWA NI ANI AT KITA rolling store today, April 4.
With public transportation shut down, these mobile stores will move from one barangay to another to provide consumers access to fresh produce during the enhanced quarantine period. According to Stephen Arlo Lapid, chief of the Post Harvest and Marketing Division, interested suppliers can get in touch with him through the bureau’s hotline numbers. “Through the initiative of Secretary William Dar and the support of our Regional Director Wilfredo Cruz, our local fishermen and farmers can now sell their harvest and produce directly to the public”, he said.
