KADIWA ON WHEELS CONTINUES TODAY
The KADIWA NI ANI AT KITA mobile stores were set up in Del Carmen, CSFP and in Fiesta Homes Tabun, Mabalacat today, April 6. The rolling palengke sold basic goods such as eggs, meat, veggies, seafood and even some grocery items to cater to the basic needs of the community. All were sold at reasonable, affordable prices.
Since the national government allowed all farming and fishing activities to continue unhampered during the ecq period, emergency trading centers such as these mobile stores were dispatched by the DA-BFAR to give the consumers access to the food they need while, at the same time, intervening to provide marketing and logistical support to the producers. The local barangay assisted and ensured that strict protocols on social distancing and other precautionary measures were observed during market time.
Tomorrow, April 7, watch out for the KADIWA NI ANI AT KITA mobile palengke in Barangays Saguin and Malpitic in CSFP and in Mulawin, SJDM in Bulacan. It will move back to Sto Nino, CSFP the following day, April 8. (RCC/Photo-Arlo Lapid)
