BFAR provides two chest freezers for El Salvador CFLC
The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources 10 turns over 2 units of chest freezer to the City of El Salvador, Misamis Oriental, on June 25, 2020 at the City Agriculture Office, El Salvador City.
With a 384-liter or 24kg holding capacity, the 18-cubic feet chest freezers will be used in the operations of the Community Fish Landing Center, or CFLC, in Zone 5, Alo Poblacion, El Salvador City. Each unit costs at P28,465.00, for a total of P56,930.00.
Teodoro A. Bacolod, Jr., BFAR-10 Regional Director, personally turned them over to City Administrator Keesha Dawn O. Lignes, representing City Mayor Edgar S. Lignes on his behalf.
Witnessing the turn over were PFO Misamis Oriental Staff Arlene B. Novo, City Agriculturist Nolly Adrian Gabule, Aquaculture Technician Alann Bajuyo, Poblacion El Salvador Fisherfolk Association President Cris Maña, and member Expidito Quilab.
