It has come to our attention that there have been some unscrupulous individuals posing as officials or employees of the Department of Agriculture - Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (DA-BFAR), or namedropping them to make fraudulent schemes to solicit funds from the winning bidders / suppliers to allegedly fund a charity program relating to DA-BFAR's COVID-19 response.
Please be informed that the DA-BFAR has not authorized any of its personnel to solicit money or other valuable things from the public.
Kindly coordinate with Ms. Madeleine Manapat, BAC Secretariat, to report any unauthorized solicitation activities at firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
DA-BFAR will conduct a comprehensive investigation of these reported fraudulent schemes.
