In the morning of 31 January 2025, four DA-BFAR MMOVs, namely, BRP Datu Pagbuaya (MMOV 3003), BRP Datu Bankaw (MMOV 3004), BRP Datu Tamblot (MMOV 3005), and BRP Datu Romapenet (MMOV 3007) conducted resupply missions for Filipino fishermen in two areas in Palawan.
- The BRP Datu Tamblot (MMOV 3005) and BRP Datu Romapenet (MMOV 3007) resupplied a total of eight FFB mother boats from 0730H to 1230H in the vicinity waters of Guntao Island, El Nido, Palawan. The two MMOVs are now underway back to their homeport in Sual, Pangasinan.
- The BRP Datu Pagbuaya (MMOV 3003) and BRP Datu Bankaw (MMOV 3004) resupplied a total of six FFB mother boats from 0830H to 1130H in the vicinity waters of Bancalan Island, Balabac, Palawan.
Meanwhile, after the resupply mission, BRP Datu Pagbuaya (MMOV 3003) and BRP Datu Bankaw (MMOV 3004) proceeded to the Port of Balabac in Balabac Island to fetch the 32 stranded fishermen of FFB “Andrian Sarah” that ran aground and broke into half at the Onok Island, Balabac province on 280400H January 2025. The two MMOVs will ferry the stranded fishermen back to their homeport at the Carminati Fish Port in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro.
