The DA-BFAR commemorated its 76th anniversary, with a resounding success, marking seven and a half decades of dedicated service in the management and conservation of the country’s fisheries and aquatic resources.
The event brought together the BFAR community, including officials, regional directors, division and unit heads and personnel, to honor BFAR’s significant achievements and longstanding commitment to the sustainable management of the fisheries sector, emphasizing its contributions to the fisheries sector and goals to ensure the long-term viability of the country’s marine resources.
One of the major highlights of the program was the recognition given to the Bureau’s retirees. These dedicated individuals had spent their careers working tirelessly to advance the goal of the Bureau. They were honored for their invaluable contributions and unwavering commitment to the growth and sustainability of the fisheries sector.
The program also featured “Palaro sa BFAR”. These activities not only fostered a sense of unity and camaraderie but also emphasized the importance of physical and mental well-being of the BFAR personnel.
