The Mission, which would run from May 8 to 19, 2023, aims to prepare the National Project Management Office (NPMO) and the Regional Project Implementation Units (RPIUs) for the project operation, assess the readiness for sub-project implementations through site visits to Fisheries Management Areas (FMA) 6 and 9, and to conduct technical discussions on fish stock assessment and a legal review of the status of the FAO No. 260 series of 2018.

 
FishCoRe is a 7-year joint project by the DA-BFAR and the World Bank designed to improve the management of our fishery and coastal resources, with the overall goal of enhancing the value of fisheries production in the country.
