The annual program provides opportunities to fisherfolk leaders to be informed and educated with the operations and activities of the DA-BFAR. It also allows the Bureau’s officials to immerse themselves with fisherfolk groups during the month of May to mark the Farmers’ and Fisherfolks’ Month.
DA-BFAR national director Atty. Demosthenes R. Escoto, Fisheries Planning and Economics Division chief Ms. Maria Abegail Albaladejo, Information and Fisherfolk Coordination Unit chief Mr. Nazario C. Briguera, Fisherfolk-FARMC Coordination Office focal person Ms. Roselle R. Quinatadcan, regional coordinators, and fisherfolk representatives participated in the event.
