The National Fisheries Monitoring Center is one of the components of the BFAR’s Integrated Marine Environment Monitoring System (IMEMS), serving as a viewing center of the BFAR’s Vessel Monitoring System operators in monitoring the activities of commercial fishing vessels around the country.
The launch was attended by various members of the National Taskforce on the West Philippine Sea, along with Mr. Simon R. Tucker of SRT Marine Systems and other BFAR officials and personnel.
