Following the success of the Phase 1 of the project, which was able to capacitate 3,540 stakeholders on Fisheries Management, Reporting, Planning and Facilitation, it was recommended that the Phase 2 of the project was to be expanded to other local government units, while pioneer sites were to be capacitated on voluntary vessel monitoring measures and the Municipal Catch Documentation System.
